Your Medicare parts A and B, (Original Medicare) covers you at 80% for medical services including doctor and hospital visits. Instead of being responsible for that additional 20%, an Advantage plan gives you fixed copayments for medical services including doctor and hospital visits. Most Advantage plans are $0 depending on zip code area, and include prescription drug coverage (Part D), Dental, Vision, Hearing and more.

Changing a Medicare Advantage (Part C) plan does not take away, or "mess up" your Medicare. It actually could add to your coverage. All Advantage plans are typically designed the exact same way when it comes to copayments, and benefits. The only differences are the Insurance Companies who offer them, the copayment amounts, the benefit amounts, and how certain prescription drugs are covered. Our agents do the work to compare these policies for you, review your policy, and only recommend changes to ensure you have proper coverage.
